Dolphin Royal Swim and Water Park
After arriving at the Aquaventuras Water Park, check in for an unforgettable family Dolphin Swim Adventure. The program begins with a briefing about the dolphins and an explanation of the activities you will experience.
After stepping onto a submerged platform in the water, you will be able to interact with the dolphins in waist-deep water, including the very popular dolphin kiss photo. A professional photographer will be on hand taking pictures.
Next, you will enter the water (life jackets required) for a speedy and amazing dorsal tow pull through the water, as you hold onto their fins. Next is the highlight of your time with the dolphins: the foot push. Feel all their strength as they push you up and through the water by the bottom of your feet!
Each session is one hour, with 30 minutes of swim time. Group size is limited to 10 guests to ensure that you have a very personal experience.
Professional photographers will capture these magical moments for you on video and stills, which will be available for sale.
The cost of the dolphin encounter includes admission to the water park, for a totally fun-filled, action-packed day. You may observe someone participating in a dolphin program by paying the admission fee into the park.
Please Note: The tour duration is for the dolphin interaction only. It does not include time at the water park, as this is on your own, or the time required to transfer to and from the park.

Special Instructions
We recommend wearing a swimsuit under comfortable clothing and shoes. A towel, sunglasses, and biodegradable sunscreen (for after the dolphin portion) is recommended. Sunblock, jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object which might scratch the dolphin is not permitted in the water with the dolphins.
Restrictions
The MINIMUM AGE to participate is 8 years old. Children who are under 10 years old OR shorter than 4 feet 6 inches must be accompanied by one participating adult (18 years or older) per child. Children ages 10 years old or older OR at least 4 feet 6 inches tall can participate on their own (with no other children) when counted as an adult at booking. Pregnant women may not participate in this tour for safety reasons. You do not need to be a swimmer to participate in this program. All participants are required to wear a life jacket. Sunblock, jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object which might scratch the dolphin is not permitted in the water with the dolphins. The instructors have the final say on what can and cannot be worn in the water with the dolphins. For security reasons, personal cameras are not allowed in the water, nor in the program area. In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean.
